Why being a vegan is not violence and not of killing plants.

Why being a vegan is not violence and not of killing plants.

Why being a vegan is not violence and not killing plants ?

It’s for a simple reason that, the vegetables and fruits which are grown in plants are not the food for plants. The plants or trees never eat their own fruits or vegetables. The fruits and vegetables are meant for others. Being at the top of the food chain, we have to eat something at least !!

So, in the most nonviolent way, one can be a proud vegan.

This is the ecological system of interdependence created by the Supreme Creator. Animals are meant for restoration of ecological balance. Animals are prey for carnivores and wild animals, they are never meant to be food for humans.

In Sanyasa, the Yati is not allowed to even pluck a flower though for God’s Pooja. He is not allowed to cook for himself. He cannot even pluck fruits.

So, for those who live in the forests and have taken to real Sanyasa, are allowed to eat fallen off fruits and roots  of dried--up plants, which have vegetables in the form of their roots.

After the fruit bearing season, whether we consume or not, the fruits and vegetables fall off to the ground. The trees or plants too either shed the leaves in Shishira and every tip of the shoot in the branch, gets new leaves. Or for some plants, they dry up and die naturally after one season of bearing fruits or vegetables. That is how the ecosystem is created.

There are some new age Gurus who go around professing, begin vegan is also violence.

I would advice never to follow such gurus or principles as they don’t understand it at all. They are  surely misguiding people.

There are certain sects of Shepherds in tribes of all regions of Bharata Varsha, who rare sheep but are very special. They domesticate sheep for wool and milk. They don’t sell or kill or never ever eat their meat.

So, animal slaughter can never be a part of any “culture and civilization”. To those who want to be on the path of spirituality, they should never encourage such activities even by thought. Rather they must condemn it with all the right reasons and enlighten the innocent souls who might have been brainwashed by false knowledge.

Astrology Lesson #6 - Dvijaa Spiritual Center

Nakshatras and Planet rulership

There are 27 Nakshatras. There are only 12 Rasis. All 27 have to fit into these 12 Rasis. So each Nakshatra has been divided into 4 quarters or Padas.

Each Nakshatra has a ruler planet. Each pada within has the same or a different planet its ruler.

Each Rasi has total of 9 Nakshatra padas, which computes to roughly 2 ¼ Nakshatras in each Rasi.

Here are the Nakshatra and Rasi information.

Astrology Lesson #5

Chandra Gochaara and Effects

How to predict Daily Horoscopes

There are 12 Rasis. In a month, Moon transits through all 12 signs. This means,

Moon spends 2 ½ days in each Rasi. So, any child born in a month can be any of the 12 rasis, unlike in western astrology where Sun remains in one sign for a whole month. Here are the broad predictions for Moon in each of the Bhava starting from which ever sign the moon in your chart is located.

Astrology Lesson #5

There are 12 Rasis. In a month, Moon transits through all 12 signs. This means, Moon spends 2 ½ days in each Rasi. So, any child born in a month can be any of the 12 Rasis, unlike in western astrology where Sun remains in one sign for a whole month. Here are the broad predictions for Moon in each of the Bhava starting from which ever sign the moon in your chart is located.

Moon in

Effects

1st house

Favorable; Focus on self - Peace

2nd house

Neutral; Focus is on family and finances; Expenses.

3rd house

Favorable; Gain of wealth; Focus is on siblings, boldness, media

4th house

Not favorable; Distress, mom upset

5th house

Neutral; Focus is on Kids, romance, finances

6th house

Favorable; Focus is on enemies; Gain of wealth; Expenses.

7th house

Favorable; Focus is on partnerships of all types.

8th house

Not Favorable; Distress; Health issues too.

9th house

Neutral; Focus is on past life Karma and fortune.

10th house

Favorable; Focus is on profession.

11th house

Favorable; Happiness and money gain.

12th house

Not Favorable; Distress; Health issues; Expenses.

So, invariably in 2 ½ days, any distress shall definitely change for everyone. Even happiness shall change in 2 ½ days, all through the month.

This is the purpose of knowing and reading the Panchang everyday during the daily prayer or rituals. We know in which Rasi and Nakshatra Moon , Sun and other planets are. So, we know what to expect for the next few days.

Personally, this has helped me a lot to control my feelings and frustrations from almost a decade. I guess this is also one of the easiest ways to detach ourselves from the effects of Karma, as we become aware that there will be mood changes every 2 ½ days.

Also, as we note, there are only 6 houses out of the 12 that give us favorable results. Rest is stressful. So, half of the month is stressful. So the key is, to remain calm, carry on duties. When the times are favorable, each honest deed shall be certainly rewarded.

With Jyotish, we can develop the patience and perseverance to believe in a higher justice than what mere humans can offer to us.

Also, if we have the faith and patience, we can tally the results with our own lives on a daily basis. This is also the best way to learn Jyotish.
